I will lead you too a place to show you I will provide for you
I have read this scripture a few different times and the LORD showed me a few different lessons. Today he has shared with Us, I will lead to the place of no water. I will start with the why. He does this to show us, his great love and power. Second he does this to prove our hearts towards him in our response.
How do we apply this for today. With everything happening around the world and at home, even for the believer we can be caught up in what looks like famine or a gloomy environment/ outcome. While we're here, what is our response to what we see? Does it seem like the LORD has forgotten Us in all this stuff? You maybe thinking I thought the LORD always provides for me and this stuff is because of the none believing people? Right? Our heavenly Father loves Us all and desires no one to be without his presence. But there is the difference between those who believe and those who don't. We can by faith with certain call upon the LORD and know that he will for Us. For those who don't know him, where will they turn? What will they do? I hope in the lesson , you will see the LORD is gracious, full of mercy, patient in our struggles and willing to on our behalf. Be blessed 🙌 in this day, the day of our LORD Christ Jesus. Hallelujah and Amen
And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD? And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
